Teresa began her career in a private spa in Hickory, NC where she was quickly promoted as the lead esthetician. She regularly attends conferences to stay on the forefront of the latest skincare developments, treatments, and products. Her certifications include the American College of Aesthetics in Advanced Microdermabrasion Training. She successfully completed an Advanced Training program for Chemical Peel Treatments sponsored by Physicians Choice.®

In addition, Teresa received "Master" status certification in the advanced theory, use and application of mineral makeup from Iredale Mineral Cosmetics.® She successfully completed a professional course on the OBAGI® Skin Health Restoration and Rejuvenation System as well as the Advanced Skin Care Analysis program sponsored by the International Dermal Institute and the Advanced Esthetics Training program sponsored by SkinCeuticals.®
