Stephen S. Scott, M.D.

 Dr. Scott graduated with honors from the South
Carolina Honors College and earned a bachelor’s degree with
Phi Beta Kappa Honors from the University of South Carolina at
Columbia. It was
there that he also received his medical degree.
Following medical school, Dr. Scott completed an
internship in internal medicine and a residency in
ophthalmology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center
where he also served as Chief Resident.
He then completed a comprehensive two-year fellowship
in vitreoretinal surgery and ocular trauma with Retina
Specialists of Birmingham in Alabama.
Dr. Scott is a diplomate of the American Board of
Ophthalmology, a Fellow of the American Academy of
Ophthalmology, and a member of American Mensa.
He is dedicated to the highest standards of patient
welfare, service, and surgical expertise.
