Near Vision CK

Near Vision CK represents a truly significant advancement in vision improvement technology. This procedure is intended for people over 40 years of age who have had great vision their whole life and now struggle with the ability to focus at near distances resulting in the need for reading glasses. Near Vision CK has proven to be a safe and effective alternative to reading glasses.

During the Near Vision CK procedure, a cool tip pen-shaped instrument is used to gently apply radio frequency (RF) energy in a circular pattern around the periphery of the cornea. This energy reshapes the cornea leading to improved near vision. Near Vision CK is considered painless and can take as little as three minutes to perform. The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis with patients returning to work and most normal activities within a day. In FDA clinical studies, 98% of patients were able to read newspaper-size print after having the Near Vision CK procedure.
